Missed the Familiarisation webinars? Fret not! The recordings are now available on demand. Watch the replays to equip yourself with some basic knowledge on derivatives trading and the trading platform (DTS) prior to the challenge. Available in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu.
STEP 1: Open a browser and go to DVTC website
STEP 2: Read the instructions and understand the Terms and Conditions. Click the “JOIN CHALLENGE NOW” button and you will be directed to the Registration page of DVTC 2021.
STEP 3: In the Registration page, please complete your details and click “Subscribe” button.
STEP 4: An Activation link will be sent to your email. If it is not found, please check your spam or junk folder. Click on the Activation link, fill in your registered Username and Password and click “Submit” button to activate your account.
STEP 5: An Email will be sent to you upon Account Creation. You may now download and install the QST application (aka Derivatives Trading Simulator, DTS account) by clicking on the link given in the email. The QST application is available in desktop (Mac and Windows) and mobile (IOS and Android) version. (Alternatively, please search for QST Mobile in App Store or Play Store to download)
STEP 6: Launch the QST application in your desktop or mobile, key in your username and password that you have created. Now you can access to your DTS account.
Upon successful registration, your access to DTS account for DVTC 2021 is valid until 21 December 2021, with the event periods as follows:
Present - 14 November 2021: Registration & Familiarisation Period
15 November – 14 December 2021: Trading Challenge Period
15 December – 20 December 2021: Grace Period for Portfolio Review
If you forgot your username, please send an email to QST customer support at [email protected] by providing the email address that you have registered with. QST customer support will provide the username accordingly.
As for password reset, at the login page in QST application, enter your username and click “Forgot password?”
A password reset instruction will be sent to you via email. Please follow the instruction to reset your password.
Alternatively, you can reset your password via this link password reset (if you do not have access to the desktop app).
A series of Familiarisation Webinars will be conducted prior to challenge. You may secure your seat via DVTC website. The recorded version will be made available for playback on DVTC website too after the webinars have completed.

This challenge is open for Malaysians aged 18 and above only. The eligible products to be traded during the challenge are FCPO, FKLI, FM70 and FMG5. Trading challenge is held between 15 November at 8:45am to 14 December at 6:00pm during Bursa Malaysia Derivatives trading hours. Start with RM100,000 of virtual account balance, NO real cash will be traded. Total 15 prizes to be won.
